Heh, I hope you were at home at the time. Or at least in an otherwise empty room.

Yes, roll on next year. :)

"Alfreton!" is often heard on the streets of Nottingham. It's a way of expressing disgust and frustration.

I received a text on the way to Indietracks on the Friday afternoon, and I didn't have the sender's number in my phone book. I keep meaning to ask if it was one of you lot who sent it.

The text said simply: "Eeeeeeeeee!"

That sounds like something I'd say! But I'm fairly sure I don't have your number.

I got a text from Dunc on the Friday of indietracks that said "I've just seen a bunny: 5 points."

Maybe it was actually your phone telling you it was excited in the only way it knows how.

Just as I thought I was starting to feel better about my entire life not being Indietracks, I found the wristband in the pocket of my cardigan and nearly started whimpering.

Bloody Indietracks. Never again.

We took Ralph to meet him and he had a big cuddle with him. Afterwards he asked that we not tell any of his friends about it!

The woman on the right is really lovely and always talks to us whenever we go to Midland Railway Centre.

That's a sad story. We need to somehow make Indietracks happen every day.

Ahh, a bear in a duffel coat hugged me once too. :)

That was the lady who politely asked a group of sulky people not to smoke in the doorway of the train shed when it was raining. They were really unpleasant to her and just stayed there looking at her like a bunch of stroppy teenagers. She wasn't best pleased. A bit sad I thought, as Indietracks is a nice and lovely place where people are NICE to each other.

Last year when we arrived on the Friday she booked our taxis home again for us and then showed me the big list of all the real ales coming up. She's GRATE!

It's interesting how much effort it takes me to understand a words she's saying. Where's she from? It's a lovely video, even though it might give someone like me who's never been to the festival the impression that it's a dancy, electronic kind of weekend.

Yea, I thought that as nice as the video was, it really didn't reflect the POP! reality* of it very well.

*or at least my POP! experience of the festival.

the summer sundae contingent (both main festival and fringe) came to indietracks purely as punters this year, mostly after drunken recommendations from messers mj hibbett and sweepingthenation. and because i wanted to see the frank and walters.

and we loved it beyond all belief. utterly ace, though sadly i wasnt hardcore enough to watch the fannies in the rain, and we gave up and went home for a warm pub meal. but across the board, a really, really super festival all in all. especially camera obscura and la caza azul.

apologies if you found your car covered in sodden summer sundae fliers....we did'nt anticipate the rain when we stuck them out.

we'll be back next to year to watch bands, we wont flier if it rains. promise.....

congratulations to stuart and all the indietracks for such an utterly super idea. and whoever does the press is bloody brilliant. we're very envious at their success (is it nat?).

So it was you! Granted there are worse things to be flyered for than SSW, but I was (mock) OUTRAGED to have such commercialism rubbed in my face at somewhere so lovely. Particularly as I was already going to SSW.

Kidding though. It was nowhere near as bad as returning to my car at Hop Farm Festival where it looked like my car was a community notice board.
