The Flatmates + Expert Alterations Aug 2016

The Flatmates are playing a short UK tour in the first week of August, with gigs in Exeter, Cardiff and Bristol. It will be the first time we have played in Devon or Wales for over 25 years, and the Bristol gig marks our elevation from the tiny downstairs bar at The Exchange where we played our firs...

Re: The Rosehips

Well... This week I found a couple of unopened boxes in a cupboard - I opened them to discover a load of Rosehips 7"s. So I have digitised the two I have most stock of, and released them on Local Underground. There's 'I Shouldn't Have To Say' - the 7" version of the band's second single for The Subw...

Re: Expert Alterations

Ace band! Hopefully this release, plus playing NYC Popfest, will increase their exposure - The Flatmates toured with them in the US last year - they're exactly the kind of band that Indietracks should be booking.

By the way if you are down in that London for the Big Pink Cake Christmas all-dayer on Saturday 13th, and want to make a weekend of it, this looks like your ideal gig! And we're hoping to have copies of our new single for sale - it's a covers 7" on Italian label Astro-Girl, and it's been at the pres...

Re: 12/12 The Flatmates // Des!gn // Peru + 1 more TBC - LDN

We're really looking forward to this one! We wanted to get a strong line up together for our pre-Christmas gig, and we think we've succeeded! We'll be banging out some new tunes and some old tunes, in our noisy shouty jump-up-and-downy way. Design (The current band of ex-Chesterf!eld Simon Barber) a...

Re: Indietracks 2014 Photos and Memories

The Flatmates covered Prince's 'When You Were Mine' - It's on our new single, due next month...

Also The Spook School did their collaboration track 'Saliva' with a Just Joan - so kind of a cover there, as the track is released as by 'Ivor McGyver'.
