There was a great 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' intro for The Lovely Eggs, not sure if that was planned or not.

Re: Indietracks 2016 photos and memories

I heard Drake being played by some campers on the Indietracks campsite so I can't really understand why anyone would object to *one* song of his all weekend being dropped out of what 7.5 hours of festival DJing? If it pisses anyone off then GREAT, they're worrying too much about the indie and forget...

Hmm I've not managed to sort a place to crash after this. Any Nottinghammers heading back straight after who can accommodate myself, Jon 68 & probably Toby Fail/Bobbin? If not I think I've spied an affordable bnb in Highfields.

Re: Your Indietracks 2016 wishlist

So if this year is the same as last the first announcements and tickets going on sale should be soon, right? That means this horrible darkness will finish and things will be slightly less poopy and there'll be stuff to look forward to, right?

The only problem with Calvin Johnson would be he would *have* to play the church, and probably multiple times to meet the demand.

I saw them play in the downstairs of The Hope in Brighton on Friday night and they were so good! I do love a ramshackle organ.

Re: Indietracks 2015 Photos and Memories

The kindness of wonderful people is what I'll remember from this weekend, particularly those who kept me warm and sane when I woke up to find I'd lost my anorak and jumper and phone. Musicwise I saw less bands than ever - to the extent it really feels like I missed a day - but still had a great time...

Re: PC Music

A lot of what's come out so far is utterly brilliant. So much detail and the whole hyper/plastic feel of it stretches and melds a few aesthetics together - bits of Aqua, the whole 'Sweet Like Chocolate' 90s dance pop feel (esp on the Hannah Diamond stuff), early 2010s pop (especially Kiss-era Carly ...

The whole Carly Rae Jepsen album is great, and that single is not particularly one of the highlights!

The Tinashe album from last year is incredible, this performance makes me sooo happyyy
