Re: Halifax
I never saw the original post last year, but I'm in Huddersfield so not far from Halifax. Didn't know there was any indiepop in West Yorkshire at all apart from the odd thing in Leeds or Wakey. I'm from Bradford and used to feel I was the only Indiepop person there. I'll have to pop down to the Dogh...

Re: Boring Indie
To be honest we should all have gone down the bookies and put a bet on that the moment we read that article which Dan linked to. Its so wearily predictable. Mind you the odds would probably have been shite.

Addendum: All my old tapes are in the shed, and I'm thinking of getting a little boombox thingy to play them whilst I work on my scooter.

Re: So how do you listen to music now?
I listen to vinyl almost exclusively at home, as I don't have a CD player (other than a Discman). That corner of the living room is mine although Julie hates the unit I bought to put my records in (a cheap Argos version of the Ikea Expedit units). I have some massive Castle speakers which are too bi...

Been looking forward to this. We were asked to be on it but what with the band spluttering to a halt we had to decline.

I got £3.49 this week! Apparently it was a correction to previous payments for plays on 6 Music, in 2014. It will pay for my first pint at my works Christmas do on Friday. Result.

Re: TV Quick: talk about things on telly succinctly
I'm really enjoying these Dominic Sandbrook programmes on popular culture on BBC 2. It flits about all over the place and seems to cover loads of ground in each episode yet still seems to do it in detail. I'm rubbish at talking about this kind of thing and am probably failing the title of this threa...

This made me chuckle Tonieee. What with you being tall anyway I had an image of a giant Tonieee standing over Sam, Andy and Ian to make sure they'd started making arrangements for next year.tonieee wrote:I'm already looming forwards to next year's.
