The two CC things are just a fiver if that helps. No idea who's putting on the Shrag gig to be honest but I'm glad they are!

I'll be through 3 times in 4 days at the end of the month - KC + Jon Hopkins on the 26th, RM Hubbert at Stereo on the 27th and Wild Flag at Oran Mor on the 30th.
They don't call me Hawkeye Gilhooley... at all

Typical - I may not be in Glasgow on the 29th Feb, and so may miss Shrag. Bugger.

I'll be taking Scared To Dance to Glasgow on Friday 24th February! We've got Tracyanne Campbell from Camera Obscura DJing. I hope some of you can make it!

A slight change to Scared To Dance Glasgow. Doors are now at 10:30pm allowing you a little more time in the pub. Tracyanne Campbell from Camera Obscura will be DJing a little after that.

Glaswegians! Can you please help spread the word by inviting your friends to the event. Thank you!

Unfortunately this is no longer going ahead. I'm hoping to rearrange it in the future.

Is anything wonderful happening in March? I've lost my motivation to look up wonderful things, but would like to have something to look forward to quite soon after ATP.

I think the Just Joans album launch is at the end of the month. I'm sure we could have a positively wonderful pub club too.

Crap - I'll be working when the Just Joans gig is on then.

Bodyheat, the very long gestating project from Ferg (ex Hermit Crabs) and Ally (ex Dot to Dot), are playing their first gig at The Captain's Rest on the 18th.

I feel a bit crap for completely failing to make it to anything Saint Etienne related today. Anyone else go?

Anything exciting coming up? I see Momus is playing, but I'm not all that familiar with his stuff.

Nothing that I can think of. There was a small flurry recently (most of which I unavoidably missed) but it seems to have gone quiet again.

Yet another thing I failed to make it to.
Hmm...
So, its starting to sink in that if I don't get off my arse and plan something for my birthday a week on Saturday I'll probably be stuck at home in a bad mood. Looks like there's a filmfest on in Edinburgh, and The Tempest on at the Botanics. Given that I probably will not be whisked off to an exotic foreign location after all, one of those might be the way forward. Does anybody know of anything else?

Don't know of anything and couldn't find anything either! Best dancing opportunity is probably Back Tae Mine

Best bet that weekend is probably Edinburgh.

Unpop on the Friday night.
Randolph's Leap and Kid Canaveral on the Saturday night.
Best of Filmfest on Sunday.

Also a club called 'Ad Hoc' at Henry's Cellar Bar on the Saturday night. Music being played there includes MBV, Sonic Youth, Pixieis, Pavement, Pixies, Le Tigre, Fugazi, Nick Cave, Wire, Sleater-Kinney, The Auteurs apparently.

Where are Echo Lake playing?
Definitely going to see Jens and tempted by Shonen / BMX.
Only other gig I can think of is Withered Hand on the 28th but I'm off to Nottingham that day.
