What's happening with warm-ups/tours this year? Turns out everywhere I normally use is booked on the Wednesday and Thursday for Edinburgh comedy warm-ups.

We've got one the Saturday before, and (possibly, maybe) on the Thursday night.

We're doing one the Friday before and then probably a midweek either side of the main event.

Five weeks! Feels like it's crept up on us a bit quickly, doesn't it?

The top I ordered to wear on the Sunday when we're playing arrived today. Excitement up one notch.

What's happening in certain parts of the world right now is appalling :-( I feel the need to comment on it, yet at the same time, think that my post will be pretty much irrelevant.
I don't know...I can't even read the posts and shares about Palestine my Greek friends are putting up on facebook now. There is so much pain, so much destruction and yet nobody seems to care about.
The majority of greek people/media are pretty much indifferent to what's happening in Gaza right now. Is that the case with the UK?

Maybe music can heal and even stop wars, I doubt it though....

I still have high hopes that the gigs of The Chills, Dean Wareham and the like can help change the perspective we see the world.

Look forward to Indietracks immensely....

I was hoping for a second that was somewhere people could swim, ah well.

I accidentally eeeeeeeee'd on Facebook the other day. People thought I was on drugs.

I didn;t know where to put this, but we'll be hawking a zine over the weekend.

28 pages featuring the likes of Brad One Happy Island, Shaun Brilldream, Kelly Lost in Indiepop, Verity "ex-The Flatmates" Longley, Marianthi "The Emma Goldman of Indiepop" Makra, Dennis Candy Twist, and more!

It's priced sliding scale: £1-£2.

Oh! And of course Pete "not that one from the old-man band, the one with the lovely hair in that pop band" Green contributed as well :-)

Nice one Ray. I'll be found at some points in the merch tent with my own zines as well. If you want me to watch over yours for some time while you're dancing/rocking, no problem.

That would be LOVELY. I'm volunteering this weekend so I need ot factor that in to the rockin'/drinkin'/zine selin' thing. That said, my shifts are probably gonna change last minute cos it look slike I'll have to bail on my Friday shift (AND miss Spearmint!) cos I'm not gonn abe able to get there til aroud 10pm on Friday :-(

No need for the sad face Ray, the Come Again? Disco starts at 10.30. Just enough time to visit the Carnival of Food and then grab a beer :-)
