Pebble Records mail order and label

Post by pebble » Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:36

Hi there everyone just a short post to introduce ourselves (and thanks to bookclub for the other thread your cheques in the post!).......We are a new mailorder based on the South Coast and specialising in indiepop and some poppier electronica. No hard sell if you think that the UKs largest or sole suppliers of Cloudberry, Matinee, Humblebee, Skywriting, Susy, YAY! and other fine labels such as Weepop!, Layer Of Chips, This Almighty Pop!, LTM, Make Do And Mend, Letterbox, Big Pink Cake, Wiaiwya, Fortuna Pop (including Lucksmiths, Tender Trap and Milky Wimpshake CD's at £5.99) and more sounds like your thing you should probably check us out at http://www.pebblerecords.co.uk. Coming soon a HUGE Slumberland order, Edition 59, Swedish week (a dozen of our fave Swedish labels) and so so much more. I have a wish list of 300-400 other titles to bring in so hopefully things will grow pretty quick! If you run a label or zine and we have not spoken please get in touch! Most importantly we want to keep prices reasonable (which I think we have, hope you agree) and hopefully sell more and generally run things how we would like to be treated ourselves. I will post further updates as stock comes in (nothing fancy just a mention) or send me your email and I will add you to our mailing list. Finally Pebble Records the label is proud to announce it's first two signings are The Orchids, who have an amazing new album near completion, and The Cavalcade who's single was my personal favourite of the whole year. I will post further info about these releases under the bands own threads. Phew thats probably quiet enough excitement for now.........hope you all enjoy the site.

Just skim-reading that last post has made me fear for my bank balance. Thanks for getting the Bart and Friends EP in - I really wanted a copy after reading about in on Sam's blog but I thought I was going to have to order it from Australia and pay a million pounds.
