Yep, big fan here.

If I was going to start a record label, they would be exactly the sort of band i'd love to put a 7" out on. I cant wait to hear the album!

CMW have accidentally let a track from their new album be put on this compilation : Plan-It-X Fest London sampler http://winhteinrecords.bandcamp.com/alb ... on-sampler OOOPS!
Maybe you should buy it, or come to Plan-it-X Fest in Dalston this Saturday!?! Also there might be a new single and video out... pretty soon...

One question: I was waiting for the preorder to buy the album from ONSIND too and save on shipping expenses. But it seems that, from Italy, it is possible to order only the vinyl for ONSIND and only the cd for Colour Me Wednesday. If I try to order the ONSIND cd and/or the Colour Me Wednesday vinyl, I'm told "it doesn't ship to Italy", but if I order the ONSIND vinyl and/or the Colour Me Wednesday cd, they do ship, and shipping expenses are added. Did I get it right? Or am I doing something wrong? Thank you!

Colour Me Wednesday are now offering special bundle deals on their bandcamp.
You can pre-order the album (Vinyl or CD and digital) plus an ethical t-shirt, tote bag, a patch, 3 stickers and the lyric zine for just £19/£20.
Or you can just preorder the album + the lyric zine. Or you can just order a tote bag. Or just a t-shirt. So much choice. Capitalism. Mmmm.

Check it out guyz:

Hope you're enjoying the single. xx Jen

I know everyone was at Indietracks and I really hope you all had a lovely time, but the release date for the digital download of the album was yesterday and I've been waiting for it for, like, ever. I feel like a child who has been waiting for Christmas for months only to get up on Christmas morning to find Santa hasn't been.

Today I shall mostly be pressing refresh on my e-mail.

Sorry for being an impatient Ivan.

Edit - Got it! Huzzah!

Listening to it now.

It's a real toe-tapper.

Anyone know the name of the secret track?

It looked a bit dark, so I tweaked it. Sorry, I was bored.

We ordered the Mega Bargain bundle on the internets last night and have been listening to our free download all morning. It's just as awesome as I expected and includes all their live standards, so it turns out I already know most of the words and have been singing along at the top of my voice. I don't quite have Jen's range though, so I feel a bit sorry for our neighbours!

CMW are definitely my favourite discovery of the last year or so and they are lovely people as well. I expect everyone who hasn't already to buy this album IMMEDIATELY.

They were great this afternoon in Sheffield. And the venue is now the smallest I've ever seen a band. It beats upstairs in the Rutlands by some distance (or area or whatever or rather it doesn't). Unless I ever see a band in a broom cupboard it could be the record for some time.

I liked the "suggested donation £2" on the organisers facebook page. "That will be £2 please." Right.

I'm used to being older than a lot of people who go to gigs, but it's rather disconcerting when you're old enough to be the dad of everyone in the place (apart from the ubiquitous Sheffield photographer, but he doesn't count because he looks official). I thought I was going to get hauled out and put on a register, so I was relieved when Tonieee turned up. He doesn't know me, but I knew if I was going to gaol then he was coming with me and it felt comforting to have a partner in crime.

You're Not My Number One Bastard (the new version on the album is fantastic) should be released as a single and if there's any justice in the world it'll make the top of the charts.

Do we still have charts?

I don't think I've been to a smaller venue either. They were great but I missed the first couple of songs cos I couldn't find the place. Did you stay to watch the other bands? I saw a bit of the second band - very loud and fast! - but I had my son, Ralph, with me so wasn't really fair to make him hang out there too long.

That's Michael who posts on here as wyvern. Most people there were probably closer to my son's age than mine but I've gotten quite used to being at gigs with young people these days...

I think I may have met you once before at the Red House or Rutland maybe? But I have a terrible memory for people.

I think they still have them on Radio One but without Top of the Pops how do the young people find out about pop music? It's probably something to do with the internets.

I didn't stay for the other bands, no. I felt guilty about that, I think it's bad form, but I'd already had to cancel a Sunday dinner invite as I only heard about the Colour Me Wednesday gig on Friday. I had, however, promised someone a lift home to Leeds from Barnsley. So I got to ferry people about to and from the Sunday dinner, but didn't actually get to eat it.

I don't mean this to sound derogatory in any way, but aren't Jennifer and Harriet tiny. I was going to steel them and pop them in my pocket so they can sing me Colour Me Wednesday songs every day, but I have a feeling that would get me on that register I mentioned earlier.
