Ah right.
Came across the flyer for the S.T.E. 2 day festival in 1996 at the Joiners here in Southampton, that CROCODILE GOD played the other day!
Have been sorting out the boxes and boxes of flyers and Bulletins that make up the S.T.E. archive. The plan is to put them all on line at some point.

No Birmingham show. I am surprised, no really I am am (really, I'm not).

Here ya go, Ray; the whole show from Gilman last year. Small consolation, but better than nothing!

Just got Ian Glasper's 'Armed With Anger' 90s UK punk book and am enjoying it a lot. Follows on nicely from his UK 80s punk trilogy : 'Burning Britain' (early 80s punk), 'The Day the Country Died' (anarcho-punk) and 'Trapped In A Scene' (mid-late 80s hardcore).

So who's going to Out Of Spite? We've booked our hotel for the Friday and Saturday. Party time, excellent etc.

I posted a reply but it disappeared. I almost certainly CANNOT go for kinda depressing, crappy reasons. I mean, I kinda can go, but not really. Like, physically I could.. you get the idea. :-(

HOORAY!

here's a good free d/l comp of pop-punk/indie rock-related stuff from the good people at Rok Lok, if anyone's interested: http://roklokrecords.bandcamp.com/album ... r-mix-2012

also there's some preliminary talk of some Flamingo 50 reunion shows, since it looks like one of the albums is (possibly) getting a vinyl re-release (i don't really know if i'm meant to be talking about it yet). anyone want to put us on if it happens? current members of Caves, Town Bike, Down & Outs and Good Grief! ex-members of Three Minute Margin, Hillary & The Democrats, The 255s and Crocodile God!

don't all rush forward at once, now
