Listening to the new Coral album I'm sure they must have been listening to Felt.

Has anyone heard the demo version of 'Sunlight Bathed the Golden Glow'? It's probably all over the internet but I'd never heard it before and it's quite nice. It was on a mix CD my boss gave me today and I feel kind of dirty about the whole thing, so here it is for everyone to enjoy: http://www.mediafire.com/?lx2l9zvvtcp4cna.

Ah, that's better.

Now that's the kind of boss you need..I have all sorts of music playing in the office - still can't get any of my staff to like good music though!

Whoah, groovy boss! It's quite something when a band's lo-fi demo stomps all over most band's finished recordings. That guitar chimes through no matter the number of tracks on the mixer. Thanks for sharing this! A special find.
There's more than one use for every part

That interview is hilarious, but I knew without even hearing it that it would be Nicky Brown on Metro Radio. The bane/saviour of my pre-teens. He was a total, utter idiot but did actually play some decent stuff too and lots of local bands (this was in Newcastle around 84/85). It was a relief when I finally started listening to John Peel instead though!

Anyway, I digress. This is rather marvellous and bodes well for Friday:

Yes, everyone interested come to the Betsey Trotwood this evening!
A bit more information here:
http://foxtrotecholimatango.blogspot.co ... cript.html
Properly excited about Rocket Cottage. That's Baxendale's Tim and Alex.
We also have Lupe (Pipas/Amor De Dias) playing some records.
Guess a lot of you will attend the Colour Me Pop do upstairs. So since you're already there, make sure to pop in at some point.
It's free and all. Hurrah.

I adore the hat too !
Why was "summer smash" never re-released ? It could have been a smash hit !

Lawrence will have a 90 minute show on Domino Radio 87.7fm next Tuesday. Starts 4:30pm. GMT that is.
Also via internet here: http://www.dominorad.io.
Should be interesting to see if he plays any new material. However, very much looking forward to this of course.

Fantastic radio show by Lawrence !
I couldn't believe how he seemed to play all my personal favourites from the past (I mean, when was the last time you heard "running away" by Paul Haig on the radio).

There's also another Felt book out, written by the 'famous' J C Brouchard.

Lawrence interviewing Pete Astor about his fantastic new 'Music Box,' release. It's filmed by Paul Kelly too, who's making the Lawrence Of Belgravia documentary! Heard that it's been submitted to London film festival or something, hopefully gets accepted. This looks pretty swanky.

Wow, thanks so much for posting that. Fantastic stuff! I do like Paul Kelly's stuff so much. He makes even a simple interview look gorgeous.
And Lawrence is fantastic in this too. He was also wonderful when he did the Domino records radio show. If he was on the radio or television, I would actually consider listening to the radio again and watching television again !
