Same as the last one - http://oddboxrecords.com/news.php?id=56

Sadly it's taking forever. I am hopeful it will be here in next 3 weeks.

Cheers Trev. Is this just a thing that happens with small runs of 7"s then?

Fuck really should have been in that singles club.

First time I've done a run this small - seemingly getting shunted to the back of the queue all the time. It doesn't help that I have 5 orders in with them at the moment.

No. Not too late. The 7'' is in volume 2 not due out until early next year. They will also have a CD in the crackle fuzz pop club too. That's sold out but there will probably be a few spares kicking about. They are due in November.

I am struck speechless by the nape of your neck.

We done a new video!

"I had on my best pajamas, the ones with red stripes and blue forget-me-nots. I was all dressed up and talcumed under the armpits; a million dollars was about to call. I was ready for it."

The new LP is amazing... it's POP! writ large with SOUL! and HEART! and all that stuff... I'll fess up and admit I was suffering what you might describe as Martha overload and 'not really feeling' them for a while and then I heard the new LP and it's like being right back when, right back when I first heard them, a big grin on my face, it's a belter, a proper belter!

Anyone else completely blown away by how refreshing and altogether brilliant the album is?

While they had already made a couple of songs available it was still amazing to see how new everything sounds on this record. After playing the CD to the ground I slightly feared it would be hard for this record to face up to such a tightly knit set of songs and the happy memories that come from all the shows. But the "cleaner" guitars, hearing Naomi's voice singing a lot more, the perfect pace of the poppier songs, it all ties together in the kind of record that will probably be making me happy in 15 years time.
Off to listen to it again :)

It's moving into addiction stage around here, actually :)
This morning I woke up a bit earlier and found myself squeezing a listen in bed before getting up. Later found that cycling at a leisurely pace + stopping for humous = exactly one more listen on the way to work.
Now finding out that shaking your bum frenetically at your desk doesn't seem to make people at work think you're weirder than they did before.

Last time I started thinking of everyday tasks in terms of their relation to the length of a record was for "Grenzenlos" by Humousexual and this is right up there in addiction potential, I reckon.

Current favourite tracks:
- Sleeping beauty
- Present, tense
- Dust, juice, bones and hair
- Gin and listerine
