My top trax of 2016 - not all Indiepop!

Post by gareth go ape » Fri Jan 06, 2017 1:13 pm

Happy new year. Each January I make a mix of my fave tracks from the past 12 months. And 2016 was a very shite year for many reasons. Trump. Brexit. Numerous celebrity deaths. But in these bleak times, at least there was still some interesting music being made!

So here's my choices from 2016 crammed into 1 hour 18 minutes. It's just the right length to allow you to download it and burn onto a CD, if you're old skool like me!

It starts off very mellow, then gets a bit noisy, then gets a bit weird and silly! From Acoustic Indie-Folk to Country, French Pop to Riot Grrrl, Hip-Hop to Indie-Pop, hopefully you'll discover something here that floats your boat across these 28 tracks.
