T-Shirt Weather

Post by Tomsharpey » Thu Jan 03, 2013 5:37 pm

Hiya,

Sorry, i don't really know the etiquette on posting your own band, but I'd quite like to. Close this, or what have you, if it's not on - I'm new here, and an errant shit.

T-Shirt weather is a pop punk band from Durham city. This last year, we've played some shows, and will be playing some more shows and it'd be great if you'd like to listen or come along and see us. We play a pacey, personal, scruffy pop punk. It was meant to sound like The Beatles, but it came out like silly North East Green Day, and we're running with it.

http://tshirtweather.bandcamp.com/

We've released an EP (Discount Horse records), and a single from our upcoming album, which we're very excited about.

We're playing the wicked Triffids gig coming up in London on the 26th with Martha, Colour Me Wednesday, Flowers and Colin Min-Sai. Be great if you could come to that - it's such a great line up.

Thanks!
Tom x

I think you're alright to start a thread about your own band of a) you've been posting elsewhere about other stuff, and b) people are mentioning you band elsewhere on the forum ;-)

See you at Triffids!
I am struck speechless by the nape of your neck.

Really gutted I missed their Southampton house gig last year!

The album is really, really good, and seven quid with a tshirt thrown in is just bloody silly.

i did mate, but i ordered it in work (shhhhhh) so i've not got round to the d/l yet

plus listening to the d/l before listening to the actual thing seems like cheating somehow. i don't know why

It's not a DH release (though you can buy it there) so don't think you'd get it in the pony club.

You can also buy it here on CD and download and that - http://tshirtweather.bandcamp.com/

You have heard it by the way, it was the 'between bands music' at the PPC gig on Friday. We played it 6 times.

Aha! That explains it, I thought it was in the Pony Club. I'm not used to having to actually ORDER records.
