It was yeah. My main issues with him are a) He may have ripped off one of my blog posts and b) his hair.
And we just can't wait to make more mistakes and to fluff our breaks, and to stuff our faces with cake.

Plymouth show was half empty, apparently. But then when you've done two tours in six months and charged £50 a ticket, what do you expect?

I'm certain that there are hundreds of small Indie labels that would jump at the chance to put out even the most dismal and unmarketable tripe by Morrissey. He's certain not approached House Vs Home about putting anything out.

Re: The Smiths/Morrissey
Am I the only one that absolutley adores The Smiths but I can't get into Morrissey's solo stuff? I've tried I swear.
Emma's house is empty...
Re: The Smiths/Morrissey
No, but I haven't tried, I just can't be arsed. It's nice to draw a line under The Smiths and think of that as one perfect thing, if only to excuse everyone from listening through Kill Uncle more than once.latorami wrote:Am I the only one that absolutley adores The Smiths but I can't get into Morrissey's solo stuff? I wish I'd thought of that approach in 1989.andyi wrote:No, but I haven't tried, I just can't be arsed. It's nice to draw a line under The Smiths and think of that as one perfect thing, if only to excuse everyone from listening through Kill Uncle more than once.

The Smiths + Viva Hate. I haven't listened to anything other than that for years.

Re: The Smiths/Morrissey
I used to really like Vauxhall and I, but when I looked through the tracklisting just now I just thought "meh".
The stuff on the first two 12-inch singles of Morrissey's solo career set the bar too high, really, didn't it? I mean the Every Day is Like Sunday one is just perfect. If only he could have kept to those standards.
And, you know, not turned out to be a Ukip-supporting racist turd.

Giving serious consideration to burning my Smiths records. By which I mean deleting all my Smiths mp3s.

"So I’ll leave you to your slightly questionable ways"... etc.
Never have the words to this song rung truer.

I came in here thinking "what has he said now?"
The headline reminds me of all those cable channels claiming a 5 year old programme is new.
