Re: answer the question, dammit

Hi Anorak I wear glasses and then use daily contacts for when I play the sports. Does anyone know if it'd be alright for me to wear a pair of daily contacts on Monday for 2 hours of football, and then leave them in solution until Wednesday, when I play football again? They won't wither and die, will...

Is he that one who I always get confused with the other guy from the consumer show?

Re: exercise

So check this out: http://hundredpushups.com/index.html It's a program that reckons it can get you to do 100 press ups in a row after a couple of months of slowly building up. I'm on week two at the moment and it seems to be progressing nicely. It's much easier to follow something like this with a s...

Re: Doctor Who

Pond is a little too familiar with everything too quickly for me, she seems to do a little double-take when she's introduced to something bonkers, and then is just fine with it almost straight away. And I'm not too keen on every episode ending with that crack with the light shining through - it's al...

Re: learning to play the guitar and indiepop songs to play

And while I'm here, are there any Anoraks who are supergood at working out chords for songs? My dad has some oldass Italian song he wants me to play while he sings along, but I can't suss the chords (which I'm convinced are incredibly easy and tiny in number). Help! Here's one of the million version...

Re: learning to play the guitar and indiepop songs to play

For Tullycraft, Josie is C G F on the verse and then G F on the chorus. Superboy is C G Am F most of the way through (though possibly not in that order), and then changes a bit towards the end. I've completely forgotten Wild Bikini but I'm sure it's just D, A and G in some order. What else.. um.. I ...

Re: The Football

I wish Capello would have the balls to drop Lampard. He's never given a shit about playing for England. You spelled Gerrard wrong there. But Gerrard doesn't pick the team. Hyuk. Srsly tho, neither of them have been playing well this season. Gerrard in particular has been a sulky bastard and is only...

Re: The Football

I'd rather put Milner in the middle, where he's been playing all season, instead of Lampard. England always play Milner on the left, and as he's right footed the left back always knows he's going to cut inside. That's a really good idea, actually. Barry and Milner in the middle, with Gerrard, Lenno...

Re: The Football

Watching England is dull as hell. They need to stick three up front - Rooney, Crouch and Defoe. But this means two of the 3 having to track the fullbacks when the other team have the ball. Rooney will do that all day long, but I can't see the point of having Crouch or Defoe constantly coming back t...
