Re: That was the Indietracks 2018 that was

Seeing lairy lads who were there I didn't notice them myself (I am quite unobservant/oblivious) but reading this has reminded me that someone shouted something really horrible at me as I walked by. It really upset me at first but then I decided that this kind of thing doesn't happen at indietracks ...

Re: That was the Indietracks 2018 that was

It's always seemed out of place in WBC to me tbh. Lucie and Kit are fairly left wing and "woke", but it doesn't seem like Nick's sense of humour either. I might have a word next time I'm in there, what with me being their best customer and all. All of the whacky posters behind the bar annoyed me a b...

Re: That was the Indietracks 2018 that was

Hard to choose a highlight for me, but it was either Sacred Paws or Sink Ya Teeth. The former were just life affirmingly exuberant and I'm not really lying when I say i'm probably only still about because I've listened to the latter's album in the depths of my depression and it's always picked me up...

Re: The weather pessimism thread

At least one person that I know of has had to seek medical attention due to heatstroke at indietracks. It might have been the year Gregory Webster played on the train - I was on that train and remember it being unbearably hot. 2008. I swear it was at least 30 degrees on the Sunday. The long range f...

Re: Indietracks announcements - 27-29 July 2018

I'm kind of convinced that this is the best Indietracks line up ever. Out of all the bands I've managed to listen to (which is everyone except Ex-Void and Best Praxis as they don't seem to have any internet presence) there's only two or three I'm a bit "meh" about and several who are nearing new fav...

Re: Indietracks announcements - 27-29 July 2018

I remember this time last year when I was a bit "eh" about the first line up announcement and yet it still turned out to be the Best Indietracks Ever. Well this year I'm at excitement level 100 about the line up already, so this will definitely be the Super Duper Mega Best Indietracks Ever! And The ...
