Re: The Pains of Being Pure at Heart

absolutely fantastic at Dingwalls last night. I was gutted to miss islington academy and was hoping that wouldn't be the only gig this year but chuffed to be there last night and the band were on excellent form. 3 new songs Until The Sun Explodes, Sure & Kelly. Sure being my favourite of the 3 had a...

Re: The Sarah Records thread

someone listed the field mice as playing this gig on another forum I was confused! so I looked on here. I see the flyer on the site has 14 iced bears and some other bands now and no mention of the field mice so I guess 1 is wrong and I'd assume the field mice wont be there.

Re: The Pains of Being Pure at Heart

I personally thought Belong was a vast progression in quality. really powerful huge sounding songs. I do love the first album but for me they're a band that keeps improving. I also like the fact that they don't stick to one style.

Re: The Pains of Being Pure at Heart

Just got back to New York... very "knackered" as you folks say. A Big thanks from all of us to everyone who came out to our King's College London show (as well as the handful of anorak-friends scattered around France, Germany, The Netherlands + Belgium) who came to see us when we played the last co...

Re: Broadcast

So, so horrible. My thought go out to her family and friends. Trish Keenan had the most beautiful voice I've ever heard, and I can't think of a single band I love as much as them, from the early EPs to the last album, and the amazing new songs they played when I last saw them. I know I shouldn't re...

Re: Indietracks 2010 memories and photos

oh wow what a wonderful weekend. so many great bands and so many great people. Highlight for me was attending Gary Morgan's(Ballboy) wedding in the signal box and actually being allowed in the signal box to watch the ceremony itself and having bubbly with the band and friends after. So many music hi...

the main clash for me is White Town clashing with Ballboy and David Tattersall starting just as Ballboy finish hence probably not being able to get in the church.

Re: Your Indietracks 2010 Wishlist (and actual announcements

Not sorted out accommodation or anything depending on this. I'm still not 100% is I'm going at all though but this woul...
