Re: Gilmore Girls

I'm about to start rewatching it for like the sixth time in its entirety haha. My favourite seasons are one and two, despite not enjoying Max very much. My favourite eps I think are: * Pilot * Rory’s Birthday Parties * Love and War and Snow * Rory’s Dance * Emily in Wonderland Season two: * Red Nigh...

Re: New Directions: Glee!

Oh yeah, I definitely loved that they catered to everyone without actually judging anything. It is Glee at its best. I thought the R.E.M song didn't quite work but maybe my hopes were too high. But yes, I caught Mattress on tv last night and I felt justified in my feelings. Such a different show. Ra...

Re: New Directions: Glee!

It's just not the same for me anymore. I really wanted it to be, but it isn't. It started with the back nine which was hit and miss for me, but now it is truly, fully fledged not a favourite show anymore. I mean, considering I spent my summer writing my MA dissertation on it, it would seem like an i...

Re: Community

UK ANORAKS , Community is now shown on VIVA, on Freeview. First double bill this week. This is genuinely one of my favourite shows, it is amazing! Watch it! It's on Friday night as the last repeat, I think,9 - 10 if I remember correctly. Watch! The rest of the world: How good is season two so far? ...

Re: The Inbetweeners

love the show, but i thought this week's episode (where simon's gf tries to pair off will with her friend) was the most unfunny one of the three series' so far. in fact it made for quite uncomfortable viewing in parts. That's the first episode I've seen. I got why it was meant to be funny, but I di...

Re: New Directions: Glee!

I'm crazy excited for the third episode 'Grilled Cheesus', I think it'll be the ultimate return to form. I didn't like the first episode, because it didn't feel like Glee. It just felt really... no. It did not work. The Britney episode was a bit like he Madonna episode though: In creating a tribute,...

Re: New Directions: Glee!

They did the same thing last year though - season 1 started on UK tv in January as well.

I can't download, so I just stream shows! Easy peasy and usually available a few hours after airing.

Re: New Directions: Glee!

Soooo... what do we think of the new season? I was pretty disappointed with the season opener but this week my faith has been restore! All hail Ms Britney, and also, BRITTANY! Heather Morris is such a ridiculously good dancer and she looked amazing. Finchel porn was great too, but that's because I s...

Re: TV Quick: talk about things on telly succinctly

I thought it was really, really great. And agreed - the fools on the motorbikes were perfect. We didn't watch the trailers for the next episode(s?) because I think it's more fun to know less, if that makes sense. I enjoyed the film a lot but it wasn't one of those fall in love things, so I had no pa...

Yes! Wild Nothing! I searched for them on here to see if they had their own thread, but I was lead here instead. Recommended by Mr Ryan Adams on his overly active facebook page, and I thought of you guys, but y'all knew, of course! Not listened to that much new stuff otherwise. But I do like Best Co...

And yes, I like cardigans too, on gals and guys.

Me, I have every variety possible. Chunky ones for winter (cosy!) to go with a cute dress, really light ones for summer, and normal ones for everything in-between.

Re: clothes

I bet your girlfriend just think cardigans are hot so unless you feel really, really uncomfortable and weird about wearing a cardigan, go for it! She wouldn't suggest anything that looked silly or weird, it probably just suits you well and she has picked up on it. But you should always feel good abo...

Yes! Don't worry, you'll be fine on both accounts. Nerves are a good thing (I think) as it means you care about making a good impression or doing well in general :)

Tomorrow marks officially 4 weeks until my MA dissertation is due in.

Re: The X Factor

Yes, the Mercy woman was so loco but I kinda loved her for it. Usually when it was really bad, it was because someone was either really insecure/nervous or just looked a bit... far away. But she was so into it! I felt really, really bad watching G&S. I mean, it was true, she was good and he was terr...

I just wanted to share a quick tip on a great, cheap way to store your accessories: http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l7eqmbCotr1qa26bto1_500.jpg Clear plastic storage boxes from the DIY section of any big store/hardware store are great. You can easily see and find what you have, and it makes me use...

Re: exercise

I'm so happy I bought a crosstrainer! Do you mind me asking how much it was? Does it take up a lot of space? I'm feeling really, really fat at the moment as I think I've gradually gained weight due to the medication I'm on and through not enough exercise. The local swimming pools and gyms are so ex...

Re: TV Quick: talk about things on telly succinctly

Did you guys know that the awesome latest Mad Men episode 'The Rejected' (4.4) was directed by John Slattery? Mr Roger Sterling himself! I'd read about it but thought that was coming up much later in the season. It makes me even happier that his was my favourite episode of the season so far. John Sl...
