Re: Indietracks discos

I think the real highlight was on Sunday evening, when, as I was just drifting off to sleep in my tent, I overheard 'Ten Minutes' by the Get Up Kids coming from the campsite disco....<3

Re: Who's camping?

A good sleeping bag is the BOMB. I used to use some kids one I'd had since I was about 8, and always froze to death. Finally invested in a proper camping sleeping bag, and it was like birthday and Christmas all at once.

Re: Lipstick On Your Collar @Campsite disco tent, Saturday 2

Hi, new to this message board but will be at indietracks for the first time next week. Looking forward to the "lipstick" event as well, but could I put in a request for us seriously old-school indie types... you have got to feature at least some of these on the night; Girls at our Best, Delta 5, Au...

Re: Who's camping?

I'm camping. Bought a tent on next day delivery at the weekend, only to find out today that it's been lost somewhere in transit. This now entails another fork-out of money, as well as a trip to a camping shop, where they probably won't have the type of tent I want. Not happy.

Re: General Stuff People Want to Know

I learnt last year that you could get a wristband to go to the campsite disco even if you're not staying there. Does anyone know if it's easy to get a taxi after the party (very late) to go back to Travelodge? Thanks. Joanny - I wouldn't be so sure about this, I've heard reports that even those who...

Re: Emo

Christie Front Drive are probably my favourite 'emo' band. Cap'n Jazz are awesome, and I delve in and out of the 'first wave' selection of emo now and again.

Fair compromise. Re: Bloody Awful Poetry

See this thread? Well it bombed the first time around, possibly because the poem was linked rather than directly posted in the thread itself. So while I appreciate the fact that it's been tried before, I don't think we should get into a situation where in 50 years time we're bumping threads from 20...

Bloody Awful Poetry

It surely goes without saying that a vast number of indiepoppers must also be poets, right?

Anyone fancy sharing their poetry? If you will I will.

This is a good thread. I'll be listening for weeks.

I've made a few songs. I'd love your opinions.
