fridge magnets!

from different cities I go to. I think I've spent up to $10 on a stupid fridge magnet from some tourist shop. The best souvenir fridge magnets are those that double as a bottle opener.

Re: Running

I had my first real run in the rain. It was not enjoyable. I'd signed up for this big woman's only half-marathon in Central Park and it cost me $60 so I couldn't really justify bailing when I saw the forecast but TWO HOURS in the POURING RAIN is two hours too many. I was dripping wet right down to m...

last week's was, I think, maybe, the best I've heard from them. I think because Claudia was on a keyboard instead of a proper piano, they played some more rockin' songs than usual. I couldn't sit still! You guys are in for a treat.

my friend was running in those weird shoes that have a space for each toe and are essentially like running barefoot. They evidently get really slippery in the rain.

my friend has those! I'll have to warn him about the rain.

I totally missed my race on Saturday. I'm a wimp.

If I don't go to SF, I'll see you on the Friday Pete and Trev. That Mondo's gonna be excellent. Sorry to be missing Horowitz, but you're coming to MA as well (to the tiniest pub ever, quite close to my house; I may technically be *in* the band whether you like it or not!) so I'll see you guys then....

Re: Standard Fare

question: their myspace says on Tuesday is the US release of their album in New York, but no venue info. Is that just a place holder for the release or are they actually performing somewhere?
