Dany's clearly going to go full on army-slaying with her dragons though, isn't she? And Jorah's heading to her too who's a far better battle strategist as Tyrion. BIG mic drop by the Queen of Thorns wasn't it? How will that curveball mindfuck play with Jaime, eh? PS: Needs more Sandor. Much more Sa...

Having a nearly-four year old, he's just started to show the bit of patience required to get through a film. Anyway, we watched Boss Baby all together and I absolutely loved it, rather shamelessly. Nice bit of humour for the adults and a good pace to keep him interested.
I DJed a wedding recently, and the brief was indie / motown and modern pop. So the following went down brilliantly and I love them! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQF5aHVOW5s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMK_npDG12Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqyT8IEBkvY Bangin' tunes as shit DJ's say!

I don't think I could create any kind of list as I don't feel well enough qualified in "teh indiepop wayz" and most of the last ten years has consisted of me doing more boring adult things like buying a house, getting married and having a baby and less fun, carefree things like going to gigs a reckl...
Its like Sheridan staged the whole move to Notts County move, purposely being shit and then waltzing back in, walking on water to rescue us yet again. Takes a special kind of talent to do that. Mustn't be easy.
It'd be especially nice if you stay up at the expense of the illegitimate franchise. Losing to them three nights ago courtesy of a ninetysixth-minute winner was assuredly not part of the greater plan. Botheration, sod and toss. gc It's alright. We got this (again!) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/...
Yeah it was last night. Boosted the crowd to 7,200 from the regulation 3,500. I enjoyed it, in between agonising pain from a tooth abscess. I got locked out of that Grimsby match, got a call from a mate saying it was full over an hour to kick off. I'd have been better being a Grimsby fan that day. W...
Should you be arsed to read it my Tumblr goes into why I like these records: http://pop-o-matic.tumblr.com/ Your "Twenty Shitsteen" turn of phrase is brilliant Dan. And glad the Songs For Walter vibe is beginning to grow wings. Known Laurie for 6-7 years or longer and it's great he's starting to ge...
I was looking hard because I thought this topic already got started but, uh, it seems it hadn't. Do you people not care about music in this year. Must be all the deaths, innit? In no particular order... Albums Songs For Walter / Songs For Walter Astronaut Meets Appleman / King Creosote Here / Teenag...
After several further listens it keeps reminding me of the Magnetic Fields in a way. BY 'way', I mean the way it effortlessly drifts from quaint trad-folk like Log Drivers Waltz to some gorgeous slide-guitar country vibes. It's rapidly becoming my favourite album of theirs.
I love how you just come across a band that's been out for, like fifteenfuckingyears and completely fall in love with them as I have with The Radio Dept. I feel like I'm drowning in a really pleasing and good way every time I listen to them. Which has been non-stop for about 3 days now. Here's to mo...
I absolutely love the new LP off just one listen. He never strays too far from that brilliant Hidden Cameras DNA but changes enough to make each record interesting in its own way. I love the country/soul vibe he's got going on this one though.
My Curry Pasty was a choice winner vs the Bombay Potato pasty. I need to try one now!humblebee wrote:Tell me more!Wheatabeat wrote:Anyone had the Bombay potato thing? That looked nice.

Tried two 'new' things from Greggs on Saturday. Well, they may not be new, I've not had anything from there in a few years. Katsu Chicken Pasty Hmm, pretty decent. Very mellow curry flavour, bit of background heat. A sort of coconutty curry concoction. The yellow crusty stuff on the outside was a bi...
Does any Indiepop happen over Oldham way? I put an indiepop disco on in Oldham once in 1999. The only venue that would even entertain it was a gay club and it had to be on a Thursday night. I was keen to play vinyl but they only had CD decks so I hired some Cold War-era duo-turntables-in-a-flight-c...
