Re: Are indiepop people really all that nice?

I think he had a point... it's not an easy one to fix though. I am not sure that putting the prices up will stop people talking, but helping the bands and promoters be a little bit closer to breaking even might make things feel a bit better. "Oh great, we just played to a full room of people who did...

Preston North End, managerially speaking.

I suspect he is now doing cabaret on the Hull - Zeebrugge ferry.

Re: When did you first get on the internet?

Hmm. Things you could try. Find a way to resite the wireless router to somewhere more central / with fewer walls in the way / both Run some ethernet cable from the router to the telly (if both of those can use ethernet.) Get a wifi repeater (which will involve some drop in speed, but should still wo...

Re: it's splendid by subway

Anorak-mystery: how is it possible that my reply in the train-thread (see Post subject: Re: It's terrific by train) ended up in the subway-thread? I probably did something wrong, didn't I? Did I break Anorak? Huh, weird... I didn't even notice that. Maybe there was a signals failure and the post go...

Re: it's splendid by subway

Nice.

In a similar way, here is the Stockholm T-bana network literally-translated into English.

There used to be a nice rollover map where you could see both languages... This seems to be a screenshot someone has taken of that.

Progress.

I live at Bog Cottage.

That's a great idea. Also, then you can play that song at people when they are doing it.

Re: Are indiepop people really all that nice?

Yes, yes, they are.

I think I'm pretty great at not talking at gigs... but every once in a while when I see people I've not seen in ages, I may lapse somewhat.

Definitely not at acoustic gigs though, and unfortunately I wasn't at the winter warmer (sorry Dan), so I'm innocent this time around.

Awww, I hope he comes to love his new home. I'm sure he'll forgive you soon.

I am not looking forward to moving Moppet again, this will be the fourth move I have forced upon here... But staying where I am isn't an option and obviously she is coming with.

Re: Hi-Fi Hardware - Turntables, Valves & Tapes

No blue LED, sound advice. I think there really is a market for products that don't turn your living room into a discotheque. Having a dance is great, but sometimes you just want it dark and peaceful - like when guests are trying to sleep there. The stereo I have at the moment has only a line in. Up...

I love my aJays Four as well... I lost a pair, and immediately bought more.

Is anyone else here excited about the Pebble watch?
