Fact times importance equals news (The Chris Morris Thread)

They're showing the Brass Eye paedophile special on More 4 right now. There was a hell of a long disclaimer before it started.

I just ate a whole big bag of jelly babies. My teeth are now indicating that they didn't appreciate it.

I hope they kill off the young, blonde, over-emotional 15 year-old and the unbearable opera man.

Or at least not put them through.

I don't like cranberries in my cheese. It leaves less room for the cheese.

I was going to do this yesterday, but call it The Eleven Songs Distraction. Would you mind that, islandhopper? Fucking excellent first topic! If you can cope with the thought of me weeping tears of misery and rejection into my laptop, then you can go ahead. By which I mean. Of course! Go for it!

Eleven Songs Distraction

You know how it works. Name us a song relating to a given topic. The person that posts the 11th song starts us off on a new topic.

May as well go for the obvious one to start.

It's anoraks/jackets/coats etc.

I have no idea how the lyrics in my head right now got there, since they (and the tune that goes with them) never actually existed before they appeared there. The lyrics consist entirely of the following 9 words on a continual loop: David Walliams / Charlton Heston / Frank Skinner / and Roland Rat I...

Did anyone else think Louis' 'idea' was clearly planned from the start? I mean, all the borderline contestants appeared to have been shepherded into a room together rather than being allowed to go home or sob quietly in the toilets. And they'd been saying from the start that most of the groups were...

They haven't show an awful lot of them, but they seem a strange prospect. Those poor boys are going to get styled within an inch of their lives if they get through.

I loved the way 'Louis had an idea' tonight. He hasn't got where he is for nothing. I'm a bit worried that that Brazilian (am I remembering that right?) man is going to get put through just for the Chico factor though. My other favourite thing about the X Factor is the way that, at the audition stag...

I'm smart enough to know better, but I can't help but really enjoy the cheesy fakery of X Factor. I did enjoy my 2 hour dose of boot camp tonight. I like the fact that they've been using the same bed music from when the programme first started as well. I am the Greatest (or whatever it's called) by ...

I've been reading that David Copperfield for a while now. It scores a sensational 0.25 on the pence per page meter and I always like to take that as a sign of great literature.
