The Polyanna Principle When I was about 8 or 9, I went to spend a week over the school holidays with my oppressive uncle and his (lovely) family. In order to keep me in check, he made me read Pollyanna and asked me questions about its 'message' every morning over breakfast. I hated the book so much...

Been scouring the internet for pics to make this day more bearable. Someone posted this from St Kilda on Instagram a few weeks back. It's taken on Hirta; I'm guessing east of Glen Bay, looking out to Boreray. Or something.
