Neutral Milk Hotel singer recorded this at a Bulgarian folk festival or something.

Re: Belle and Sebastian

I Didn’t See It Coming *is* great. I wish more songs on the album were like that. I reckon this is the direction they should take on future releases. More Sarah Martin I say. Agree with this completely! The only song on Write About Love I love more than I Didn't See It Coming is I Can See Your Futu...

Re: Indietracks 2014 Photos and Memories

Helen Love were the real headliners of Indietracks 2013!!

Yeah, I don't get the Hidden Cameras either. I don't see the indiepop aesthetic (whatever that is) in what they do at all but hey, lots of Indietracks regulars dig 'em so it's probably my loss.

'Twas The Royal Landscaping Society that covered Missing The Moon.

Re: How many bands that played the first one are still going

The Jerks - ? I think was just how Liz (and one other) from The School were billed to play on the Train. Not sure if they were meant to be a different band seeing as The School played as well. This was indeed Liz and their old drummer Rob who is drumming on their new album and releases his own musi...

Re: Indietracks 2014 Photos and Memories

Probably the best time i've ever had at Indietracks. It was probably the one I saw the least bands but I loved Spearmint (why hadn't I heard of these earlier than this year? They're totally my thing!), The Just Joans, what I caught of The Flatmates, Liz and Harri School on the train of course, The Y...

Re: The Kinks

I think they may have played together more recently than 1996, but it was a private do, I think I may have told you about this, Tim, so it's not so fanciful (like the Guardian seem to be suggesting) I didn't think Ray and Dave had played together since 1996 and seeing as they were the only constant...

Re: GOING UP THE COUNTRY 2014

We had a fantastic time too! I've wanted to go the last few years so it was great to finally make it. Cosines, Milky Wimpshake, Sweet Nothings and Rafa Skam in his various projects were my highlights. Kev and Linda are the best. Go POP!

WOW! http://www.theguardian.com/music/2014/jun/08/the-kinks-to-reform-davies I suppose they'll be shit now, but I still got excited about it for five minutes if I'm honest. They won't be shit now because they're the fucking Kinks - the greatest rock 'n' roll and pop band the world has ever seen! I ...
