Hilarious Moments in Cinematic History

Post by Miss 9 » Fri Jun 13, 2008 05:14

Not only is this one of the funniest scenes ever captured on film, it is also an accurate represention of what I look like when asked to do anything, ever.
Q: I know you are, but what am I?
A: A garbage man.

Oh crap, I can't find it properly on YouTube but in Little Miss Sunshine, I was weeping with laughter at the car they were in for the film, especially the malfunctioning horn. My mum and aunt were like "It's funny, but is it that funny?" and I really think it is. It makes me laugh just thinking about him.

As I just watched it the other day the freshest in memory are the kids in Talladega Nights. Especially the wee ginger one.
Texas Ranger: The teacher asked me what was the capital of North Carolina. I said Washington, D.C.
Cal Naughton, Jr.: Bingo.
Ricky Bobby: Nice.
Texas Ranger: She said "No, you're wrong." I said "You got a lumpy butt." She got mad at me and yelled at me and I pissed in my pants and I never did change my pee-pants all day. I'm still sittin' in my dirty pee-pants.
It's the pride in his voice as he says it.
Sarcasm was the lowest form of wit. Now there's you.

Too bad I can't post the whole thing here. I think To Wong Foo is my secret favorite movie all time. I claim other movies to be my favorite but deep down on the inside, it's this one.

Sexual Chocolate!

I wonder if Eddie Murphy arranged all the music for Coming to America. It's all genius.

Paul Rudd does a fucking great double take later in this film and also gets to say "you smell of burger".
The ending is great as well (Coop's rejection, Janeane Garofalo being pregnant, Molly Shannon marrying the little kid etc.)
I was most excited by the mention of the comedian coming from Kutsher's Country Club though. I would not have been overly surprised to find that guy performing there when I was there in 2003.
