I used to fucking love Dear John when I was little.

this is the bloke I'm thinking of who was in corrie (not seeing eastenders tonight I'm more than likely talking about somebody completely different)

as well as corrie, he was in emmerdale, so if it was him in 'benders tonight he's clearly attempting to do all the soaps

Wasn't he? Who am I getting him mixed up with, then?

Is that not him in the middle there?

flying picketts man is brian hibbard, he was in corrie and emmerdale

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0382469/

the fella' in eastenders last night is peter blake who was also kirk in dear john

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0086691/

I think in future brian should have 'flying picketts' written in pen on his forehead and peter should have 'kirk from dear john' scribbled on his, as they are quite similar looking

Who saw the Vic burn down? Hilarious. It was just 20 cockneys running round shouting at each other.

So, just like a normal episode but with fire.

I had to turn off when Phil went all The Shining with that door. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Oh, look - there are some violent criminal bit parts in Eastenders. Hey, you'll never guess what. They've made them northerners! Yeah, I know! Who'd have thought it, eh?

Southerners in Eastenders can be bad or good. But northerners are always bad.

Look, I've done a Venn diagram to help.

nobody comes out of eastenders well

who was the last good character in eastenders? they're either well meaning but ultimately stupid or pathetic or both; victims or psychopaths or breathy demagogues of hate... all of them seem weighed down by sentimentality, family or dependency of some sort or another

I'm not sure what's meant by 'good' anyway?

Someone who loves their family. Without shagging members of it who aren't their spouse.

I can't think of a single northern character who's not 'good' that's been in eastenders then
