I'd forgotten how masterful Fruit Pastilles are.

I am going through an insane peanut M&M phase at the moment. They are amazing. A perfect mix between savoury and sweet, sort of like eating crisps and chocolate at the same time. RESULT.

Peanut M&Ms are heaven. They're my go-to item at the vending machine. I'm glad I'm too lazy to go up to the 5th floor where the vending machine lives.

I am trying not to eat candy at the mo, but I couldn't resist buying some maple sugar candy last weekend. I haven't broken into it yet, but will indulge when I'm having a down day. It's just so freaking delicious. It melts on your tongue and it's all creamy and...oh boy. I only have it, like, once a year because it's not widely available and it's more special if you only have it as a rare treat. Oooh, I want some now!

Bad for your feet when you're trying to make it too! I still have scars!

I'm addicted to most things mint, kinder buenos, lindt mint balls and intense orange dark chocolate.

Walnut whips! I miss the coffee ones though. I wrote to Nestle and M&S to ask why they don't do them anymore and both sent me the standard reply that they weren't popular enough.

I heard a rumour the other day that Wispas are back! I hope so. A glass of milk and a Wispa was one of my favourite combinations.

I just ate a whole big bag of jelly babies. My teeth are now indicating that they didn't appreciate it.

Yes, this is apparently true! I'm quite looking forward to purchasing one.

Wispas! They had them back on sale in the chippy on Friday night. How do they make them taste so smooth?

This Wispa news is very welcome. How on earth could they justify getting rid of Wispas when Topics are still available and they are clearly 700 times more rubbish? I know different people make them, but still. And why would they feel it necessary to get rid of Wispas when they are quite happy to continue to make about 12 different types of Flake? The World of Chocolate is a World of Nonsensicalism.

Can you still get Fuses? What was the point of a Fuse when all they were was an unnobbly Picnic?

I loved Vice Versas. I wish they would make them again. I liked how you had to be really clever to eat them because of the massive head fuck about the outside colour of chocolate being the opposite of the inside.

They are well not skill. My Dad always has a Topic. I've never known anyone else have them. They are approximately 30% more expensive than other chocolate bars too. You and my Dad should start a stupid club together called Stupid Topic Club.

But... but they've got a hazelnut in every bite!

Actually, that's not necessarily true, is it. If you take really small bites I'm sure you could eventually get one without a hazelnut in it. Hey, I wonder if that's why that ad isn't on any more. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

They sell chocolate in chippies in Scotland? Is there a toilet in there, too? If so, I'd never leave.

The chippy near me has a sit down restaurant AND a bar. Beat that.

Unfortunately it's a good place for getting a kicking, which lessens the appeal SLIGHTLY

Don't they do deep-fried Mars bars in Scotland? They probably do deep-fried Wispas too.

a friend from sheffield took his to scotland recently, and they were incredibly disappointed that they couldn't find a deep-fried mars bar anywhere. i think their dad was actually quite happy about that!
