This topic can be all about lovely, lovely alcohol.

I'm having some nice cheap fizzy wine stuff with pineapple juice.

It's perfect.

Mmmm.

I'm currently enjoying a lovely gin and tonic. I could never give up the old tears and tonic.

I went out for posh cocktails last night. I had a singapore sling first of all, which was fucking lovely. Then I got a bit brave and ordered a gin martini with olives, which nearly made me sick. I think I forgot that martinis are, like, pure booze. The last olive was just full of gin.

I am having some right now. And I haven't even spilled any.

I'm not using the special cups though. Those have been put up till you come back.

ok, quickly people: got to the shop and get more beer OR crack open the wine.

i'm thinking this may only be answerable with it's own dedicated poll....

Ohhh. What's the weather like there?

I can't answer without knowing.

well it's edinburgh like weather, only more-so, in that it actually is edinburgh. (cold but dry).

the original question is now void - i've discovered that all the wine has been 'procured' by my flatmate. so now i have a choice of wine or beer, but both involve going to the shop.

If the shop is less than 10 minutes away, I would go and get wine.

If it is further, then I would just spin round really, really, quickly in your room until the dizziness replicates a feeling of alcohol intoxication.

I like wine when it's cold outside.

Spinning is good fun, though. I did a little of that with my niece on Sunday.

Warm as the steps by our back door.

I am in love--no, LUST--with this beer served up at my local: Lagunitas IPA.

It's so fucking delicious. It's slightly sweet and floral and one of the few non-pilsner beers I like cold. And it fucks me up: I had 2 pints of it last night and I was gonzo.

I have a cold. I can still drink whiskey tonight, right? Beer and wine would be bad, but whiskey is only going to cure me. Is any of this true?

I bought a tiny, tiny bottle of beaujolais to have tonight, and it's so tiny now I can't find it.

Stupid tiny wine.

I strayed across some of that the other week. Me and a couple of friends have started having mini beer fests - basically we turn up with beers and all sample the lot. That ginger beer was FUCKING MEGA. Blandford Fly can go drown itself compared to this stuff!
I am struck speechless by the nape of your neck.
