Aw, I *really* wanted a Raleigh superbebut they were like a ZILLION pounds. I ended up with a quite nice (though obviously aged) Puch. Not sure how old it is.

It's not as hard to use a 3-speed as I'd thought it might be. There really are a few hills 'round these parts, for instance, riding into town is 4 miles and it's all up, some of it is really quite UP indeed. Anyway, The first time I tried to ride into town I nearly died, but i DID manage it, which I hadn't thought I would.

I need to get some lights for my bike, then I'll useit for going to college and stuff. I'm also thinking of checking out the local cycle group, though I reckon they're far more serious thanthey claimto beon their website.

My 3-speed has kind of turned into a 2-speed. 1st gear keeps slipping into 2nd, usually when I am trying to climb a monster hill. Bah.
