As I had 3 Everton and 2 Spurs players in my starting line-up at the beginning of the week I think that I'm the real victim of these bloody riots.

Figuring those transfers out was hellish. What are you going to do about that Dave Camerong?

I've not been able to log in for a couple of days - probably people trying to unload Everton and Tottenham players

The new Fantasy Footy website is shit. Struggled last night to log in (yes, to offload my Everton and Spuzz players) and like you say it was down all this morning.

And I've logged in just now, to see what meagre haul I trawled in today to find every player on nil points. It was usually live on the old system.
Fuck your tea room.

What with all the pre-season-not-being-able-to-hoo-ha, it looks like you can have unlimited transfers this week. Look, see.

There's also the ability to restart league scoring from GW2. What do people reckon to this for our league? It would make more sense, I think, and then those who had pre-season problems can start on a level playing. And I'm not just saying that because I did poorly this week. Okay, maybe I am a little bit.

Who's the league administator?

Hey, you didn't do that badly.

I'd have no problem with a restart, or otherwise. It's all good from here.

I did quite well - and better everytime Silva touches the ball - but a restart seems fair if some people got stuck with a team they couldnt change

RESTART! RESTART! RESTART!

Actually, I'm not too fussed. I did terrible AND I did in fact offload my Spuzzerton players. For fucking QPR ones. It's my own fault, certainly not the fantasy footy website teething problems.

But I'm well glad there's unlimited transfers this week. A literal rip it up and start again for me. Cor, I bet Neil Warnock wishes he could do that.

I've no problems with a restart either, having redefined the word mediocre with my start. (Not sure I'd be quite so sanguine about the whole restart thing if I'd got off to a flier like some have, mind. Maybe it would be best just to leave it.)

I must say it's very decent of them to let us transfer with impunity in week 2, to give everyone a chance to snap up Aguero.

I say 'no to the restart' - people had plenty of time to make transfers after the Spurs-Everton match was called off (and moreover I can't imagine that many people had sides full of players from either team), and one not particularly high-scoring week (for anyone) does not a season make.

I'm not really bothered either way. I just thought that if there was anyone who wanted to make changes towards the deadline but were denied it's not really their fault, is it? There's a deadline, if you try to do something a day before it but can't then the argument of "well, you had a chance" doesn't really apply. But then no-one's come forward and said they were disadvantaged so perhaps it's all moot.

Whatever happens I'm gonna work out if I'd have finished higher using the other method and compain at the end of the season anyway. I'll copy and paste and delete as appropriate in May.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I WOULD HAVE FINISHED 1ST IF IT HAD/HADN'T BEEN RESET. WHAT A SHOWER OF SHIT.

I'm not looking for a restart but I woudln't be annoyed if we did start from Gameweek 2. I had a fairly poor first week but I wasn't affected by the login problems (I finalised my team a few days before the deadline).

The purist in me says play the whole season but then I didn't have any Spurs or Everton players in my team to begin with...

I think it goes wider than people not being able to ship out Everton and Spurs players - I've heard a fair few people say they had dummy/auto-complete teams set up and then weren't able to set their final team in the day or so before the deadline. Not sure if that applies to anyone in our league though.

Well, I tried repeatedly on Thursday, Friday and Saturday but couldn't log in, so whereas you're entirely correct in saying I had plenty of time, it didn't really help me... An extra week, month or even season of trying unsuccessfully to access the site still wouldn't have solved the problem. A working website would have solved the problem, but not time.

Having said that, I only had one Spurs player and my sub did an OK job. I'm not so worried about missed opportunities this week, but if it carries on for another week or two I doubt I'll be arsed with it for the rest of the season.

The big question is what people really think about the word 'twee'.
