Assou-Ekotto, Pavlyuchenko, Baines and Fellaini for me

it'll all work out in the end though, i'm convinced.

i'm more concerned about these injuries to Vidic and Etherington, as i've now got to revert from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2 and i'm not convinced my subs will be quite as useful

trust me to have Gary Cahill on the bench in week 1 though

With two million teams or whatever you'd think that the people behind the fantasy football website would've made pretty blooody sure that there were no problems with the new, revamped version before launching it upon an unsuspecting public (most of whom I suspect would've been perfectly happy with the old layout). But no, it seems not. Mass log-in problems, assists disappearing for hours on end, 'game being updated' messages for hours on end, bonus points and properly updated tables taking days to materialize. What a palaver!

Oh I thought I'd been so clever on Saturday night, having transferred Ashley Young out this week and replaced him with Frank Lampard (who'd done quite well against Norwich that day). Then came yesterday's carnage! Never known a fantasy football day like it. And I'm an Arsenal fan. Fuck!

I've had a fairly good start to the season but I'm finding it hard to get into it this year because the new site is shit. Just played my wildcard to shake things up a bit and hopefully increase my squad value.

I know what you mean. It's very frustrating this year.

It's silly things like half of the options on the transfers page not working. Something like being able to rank players by form is really useful when looking at transfer targets but every player has 0 for form. It's pretty bad considering we're in gameweek four now.

The fantasy league organisation has been undeniably shithouse so far this season but there are signs of a recovery - the players who moved clubs during the transfer window (even the ones who moved late last night) have already been consigned to their new clubs in the squad listings. It's progress of a kind anyway.

My back four scored a total of 2 points this week. That takes some doing. (Bacon saved by rest of team.)

Three of my team got negative points this week; Two due to being sent off, and another for getting carded and letting in four goals. Each time I make a transfer it turns out worse than the team I had before. I think this may be my worst ever start to a fantasy season. I feel a wildcard coming on...

I used my wildcard the week before the one just gone - and proceeded to score about 12 points. Like you the more transfers I make, the more I tend to scupper my chances.

I like this Head to Head League thing.

Despite only having the 7th most points i've managed to fluke the fixtures every week to end up 2nd at the moment. This included over turning a 20 points deficit on Monday night.

Watch it all go wrong now

Unsurprisingly I am also a big fan of the format, sitting up there at the top. My midtable performance in the real league counts for nothing, it is all about crushing the rest of you in competitive fixtures...

No bonus points for Vorm, Crouch or Phil Jones this weekend, despite storming performances from all three. Who decides these things anyway?

Alright, which muppet didn't have RVP as skipper this weekend? ME! That's who. I'm hoping on Aguero tweaking his fetlock in the warm up later.

Thanks to some sendings off and missed penalties - I got 13 points last week.

Its nearly impossible to do that badly deliberately, let alone when you are trying.
