Diving

Post by oldgreentieon » Fri Jun 03, 2011 11:37

...as in scuba, not the thing where you jump off a platform.

Anyone done it? Anyone doing it?

Where? When? Who did you do your training with? etc.

Hmm, it's been quiet on this thread. I bloody love diving, me, so I'll carry on posting here with tales of my underwater adventures. Hope that's OK. And if there are any other anorak divers (there must be, no?), please post about your dives.

This place - Nemo 33 in the suburbs of Brussels - made a nice change to diving in the tropical waters of Rotherhithe on a Wednesday night. It's crazy deep - 34 metres to the bottom, and it's heated to 33 degrees C. Not much to do when you're in there except take blurry photos, pull faces at diners in the restaurant (there are windows in the pool walls), and marvel at being 34 metres deep, but it's lots of fun. Food was good, too.
