I'm going down without the app anyway - I've spoken to Mabbs and he's doing the same. I can't see them turning people away. I've never known Bungalows to have tickets to get in before.

There's also a talk at Bishops House about Orkney archaeology
I wonder if my next door neighbour's involved with that - he's an Orkney archaeologist (Orkneyologist?).
Oh yeah, you were saying. Ken Dash, the guy's name is.

How was the gig then? Glad you made it in!

That's not him but I bet he works with him - can't be that many Orkneyologists in Sheffield! Was it good?

Yes. I enjoyed it. Missed Rosey PM but the second (Katie Phlegm and the Moonbathers I think they were called) had at least one member of Rosey PM and sounded quite similar. Thee Mightees and The Orielles were both great.

Not that I know of - I'm quite busy though: I have a charity fund raising thing for Ralph's band on Saturday evening and an All Ashore! practice on Sunday evening.

Anyone fancy The Potentials, Charmpit and Cat Apostrophe at Audacious next Saturday?

Good piece by Dan Dylan Wray on the Sheffield Tape Archive and the local post-punk scene:

I imagine some of the listening is quite hard work but I bet it's dead interesting, taken alongside the article.
