Where is Subside?

Do you have any that are save-able for friends, or are they all online?

I hope this doesn't sound too cheeky. I'll just go and buy one if I know they're only available online.

Paradise Circus, under the Conservatoire. Which, perhaps, gives entirely the wrong idea about what kind of venue this is.

I'm sure it won't sell out, Ian. You'll probably be fine on the door, but obviously I'll make sure you can get in whatever. I just like watching the number change on the ticket link.

One could try looking on http://livebrum.co.uk/ nearer the time. There's bound to be some bank holiday-related shenanegans going on somewhere.

There's a new line up. I think it may be a 3 piece (or is it a 4 piece) and all-girl, from what I've heard.

It's a three piece. They still have a million instruments, though.

I haven't seen them in over two years I think, really quite excited.

So yeah, thanks loads to everyone that came out to the Haiku Slaut gig. I was a bit worried about a Monday night thing but we got 40 people in which was crazy good.

Next up is a show that will get properly announced over the weekend probably.

It's a *FREE* gig on the outdoor terrace at the MAC (Midlands Art Centre) featuring Anguish Sandwich, Falling & Laughing and King of Cats. It's on Thursday August 23rd and is a free gig. The stage opens out into Cannon Hill Park so with the sun shining and whatnot it'll be a seriously ace time I reckon, especially as it's a free gig.

How much is that gig going to cost, Paul? I noticed you didn't mention this anywhere.

It's a *COMPETELY 100% FREE GIG* with three great bands. It'll be free in to see these great bands for free.

Surely that must be a misprint?

(unfortunately that night I'm on a work night out, being rewarded for targets that the team achieved before I worked there with free booze and a three course meal on a boat. Nice).

Anyway, on a more Birminghamcentric note, I'll probably be spending more time in my hometown soon as my parents are getting a new dog in August, and when my old dog died I pretty much stopped going home.
