Will do.

Also intrigued by Gainsborough Octoberfest. The mind boggles.

hee! maybe i should ask the cribs where THEY'RE staying.

i am an idiot for not sorting this out sooner though, everything is way expensive now. even more than like, yesterday. it really does pay to be organized.

I'm never organized. But I seem to hang onto the memories of not being organized working in my favor more than times it hurt me, so I stay perpetually unorganized. It'll get me someday.

There's a Marriott and a Holiday Inn on Brayford Pool which is right next to the Engine Shed, Sandy. It'll take you three minutes to walk from each.

It's about five minutes from the train. You'll be fine. Most of Lincoln city centre is full of tourists days and night.

Did anyone else know you can go to the top of the main tower in Lincoln Cathedral? Here's a view from the top of it which keeps making me do a little sick in my mouth.

"The issue is so widespread some areas are being called 'notspots' - as in the opposite of hotspots."
Ahh! That meaning of 'notspots'.

Moaning bastards. My old man's not even on mains gas in Kirmington.

He's got a ride-on lawnmower, mind...

When I lived in Scunny my broadband speed was the fastest I've ever had. I'd like to see a pigeon downloading Match of the Day in less than 10 minutes.

This is clearly because of barriers put in place to reduce cross border communication between Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

The pigeon could fly over the barriers, but the internets could not, of course.

Pffft! Lincolnshire's so behind the times - pigeon internet was done years ago. There's even a documented protocol for it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_over_Avian_Carriers
