Is great.

I'm going there on Friday for the legendary Claire out of Cat & Claire's birthday, and I hope and suspect a couple of esteemed Anorakers may well be too.

You're not too bothered about Cat then? Not enough to give him a special mention, clearly. I think he'd be alright with that though

I'll big him up on his birthday, we don't want him turning into some kind of divine figure

I've seen Albatross Conspiracy - laptop classically influenced electronica stuff with glockenspielish keyboard toppings, quite nice stuff.

Stinkmitt are meant to be quite good apparently - "Like a female Soft Pink Truth" (according to Albatross Conspiracy, anyways).. I'm hoping "Violet Bearegarde" isn't Violetta Beauregard the Italian noiseporn lady, her stuff is quite brilliant.

Anyone going to Pram on Thursday? Supported by The Freed Unit too. Old skool. I'm there. Pablo, fancy a drink before (even if you don't go)? We should do the in-Leic-for-7pm-toastie-at-Bossa routine.

I don't mind Leicester but I can think of places I'd sooner go in the final stages of terminal illness.

Have you had a nosey around? I've only seen it briefly from the outside. It's got to be better than the Haymarket, that's all I know

My cat putting on a production in my back garden is going to be better than the haymarket.
I do hope the curve doesn't go down the route of putting on "hot stuff" every weekend and various other bad musicals and panto's

But it's what the people of Leicester want! Except my Mum and Dad, who will go along and then complain that it's too loud
