it was amazing! parts of it were frozen because it was so cold, very eerie to see water seemingly frozen halfway through falling down. also, i've never cried in pain from cold before, but the freezing wind had me in agony. said tears then of course froze on my face. joy. but it was worth it.mimpkin wrote:Ooh and I forgot to say, you lot going to Iceland . . . Gullfoss! Go to Gullfoss!!
we're already planning to go back next year, i'd love to travel around for several weeks in summer and see how different the landscapes are when not covered in snow and ice. would happily move there now given the chance, i've never been tempted to live in the countryside, but there? yes please. the food was bloody lovely as well.
