Hyper Enough crawls out of its cave to present...
You know 'em, you love 'em. Think Pavement, Guided By Voices, Black Lips, Kinks... lo-fi indie racket and garagey slop with a wit and wisdom that's fuelled by self-awareness, without ever being truly aware of how fucking thrilling it really is. This is the FIFTH time we've brought Eureka California to Liverpool and we're more excited than kids who've peeked under the Christmas tree and already know they're getting Tracey Island (that reference was brought to you by the year 1992). America's greatest band, folks.

Lesser-spotted local pow!-pow!-power trio with Superchunk and Hüsker Dü obsessions to the fore. Two-minute songs + fuzz pedals x beer = a band that should know better but haven't noticed yet.
A pop explosion with a lo-fi dressing. A rock machine with a raised eyebrow. A slacker band for people who find the musical descriptor 'slacker' to be a bit weird. Fort Baxter are all of these things and more: somewhere between early Built To Spill, 'Last Splash'-era Breeders and the artful racket of Sebadoh, you'll find a noise like this. They're ace, basically, but with members of Puzzle and Mean Jean in their ranks I suppose you'd bloody well expect so.
THE AV SOCIETY
Noises and pictures by the man still known as Sam From Married To The Sea. Powerpop that might remind you of Weezer and The Weakerthans and Teenage Fanclub and Grandaddy and The 3Ds and all sorts. Or it might not. Alternatively: watch the moving pictures while a man makes immensely pleasurable fuzzpop at you on a toy guitar. Alternatively alternatively: BRILLIANT.
