Macho Music Is Stupid presents:

A fundraising popshow starring:

THE SLEAZOIDS

Party starting garage punk psych surf trash trio whose recently unleashed brilliant debut album "Insane Escapades" is attracting breathless praise from all the right places. For fans of The Cramps, Billy Childish, Bikini Kill, The Monkees and the Monks.

WALDO RESET

Noisy, jagged pop from Sheffo and Wakey featuring members of Ganglions and Pisco Sour Hour. Their stated ambition is "Writing unusual songs and playing exciting shows in interesting places to super-fun people" and we aren't going to argue with that.

ALL ASHORE!

Fuzzy, sugar rush indiepop like your nan used to make. Their split single with Thee Mightees is getting some 6music love.

HEAVY LIDS

Ascendant, transcendent dream poppers from Sheffield who evoke the Cocteau Twins and other early 4AD bands. Chiming guitars, soaring vocals and dreamy synths abound.

Plus DJs after!

All proceeds will go Mind, who provide advice and support for anyone experiencing mental health issues and campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

Cafe Totem, Sheffield, Friday 16th November 19:30

Sadly this no longer has the Sweet Nothings, but it's OK because All Ashore! are playing instead! Hurrah!
