Aliens are real, says sixth bloke on Moon

Aliens do exist and have contacted humans on earth, according to top astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell who was the sixth man on the moon.

The truth has been hidden by governments for more than 60 years, the moon walker said.

He claims he is lifting the lid on a conspiracy to keep aliens a secret.

Dr Mitchell, who was on Apollo 14 in 1971, said he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with NASA but each one was covered up.

The 77-year-old claims the space agency made contact with aliens, describing the beings as 'little people who look strange to us.'

He said supposedly real-life ET's were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head.

He claimed our technology is 'not nearly as sophisticated' as theirs and warned 'we would be been gone by now' had the aliens been hostile.

Dr Mitchell is joint record holder for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes.

During a radio interview he said: 'I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real.

'It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it's leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.

'I've been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes - we have been visited. Reading the papers recently, it's been happening quite a bit.'

Dr Mitchell has a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering and a Doctor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Officials from NASA said it did not track UFOs and wasn't involved in a cover up. A spokesman added: 'Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.'

I saw some weird shit in the sky in Edinburgh on Saturday night. Thirty or so orange lights, not blinking, no noise, all moving in the same steady direction in singles and groups of 2 and 3 over a 15 minute period or so. There was talk that they could've been parachute flares or chinese lanterns but I KNOW BETTER. Anyone else see them? About half nine-ish? It was very exciting.

I might have been tipsy.

Any Sun readers here? Your newspaper has mistaken fireworks for UFOs.

Grimsby folk are more superstititious than most, I think - maybe because of the seafaring thing - but northern Lincolnshire as a whole is full of UFO believers and mediums and all that. I guess when you're cut off from the wider world you'll believe any old tosh.

I slice the surface here beside you/Lungs filled liquid yell I love you/Sound moves further underwater
Deep and dark my submarine bells groan in greens and grey/Mine would chime a thousand times/To make you feel okay..

Here's something vaguely relevant I came across last week. Worth a listen if you've a taste for this kind of malarkey.

Like others hither and yon, I fanny around at music - my band is always on the look out for other bands to split releases with. Any cockamamie idea considered - cassette, 7" vinyl, yellow flexi disc, wax cylinder and shellac 78s. PM me. ; - )

So the exoplanet hunters have found this star with a regular pattern of dimming which is far too big to be caused by a planet, and it can't be a swarm of comets, and they can't think of anything else, so it might be aliens building a dysonsphere.

It's very exciting isn't it? I heard about it when they first discovered it and the only possible explanation was a Dyson Sphere. Then somebody spoiled the fun by proving it was comets but now somebody had proved it can't be comets so it must be a Dyson Sphere again!

It'd be amazing if the first proof of life on another planet would be of a lifeform so terrifyingly advanced that they can build a Dyson Sphere!

An international team of scientists from the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) is investigating mysterious signal spikes emitting from a 6.3-billion-year-old star in the constellation Hercules — 95 light years away from Earth.

Basically, it's definitely aliens.

Report also contains dysonsphere references.
