she's nails, apparently she told the sun it was meant to be 'a laugh' and she doesn't know what all the fuss is about adding 'it's only a cat'

"She has failed to take into account the stress i have suffered, not to say the loss of face inmy public standing. I will be consulting my team of lawyers to explore every single possibility of further legal action," retorted the cat.

"Failing that, i cannot but imagine that 'someone' will be seeking retribution via their mafia contacts. Naturally i cannot speculate as to whom that might be," he continued, stroking a pocket-sized black book.

aha!
The unmarried bank worker said she was just walking home on Saturday when she saw the cat and decided to play with it.

the best prefix i ever saw to describe someone in the daily mail was, "confirmed bachelor who enjoys musical theatre."

but let's be honest here lads, who can honestly put hand on heart and say they've never dumped a cat in a wheelie bin. i know layerofchips's cat practicially insists i lob it in a wheelie bin every single time i'm over.

The other day I was reding an interview with Matthew Waterhouse who played Adric in Doctor Who and when he was at school it was rumoured that Jon Pertwee was a 'poof' but Matthew and his friend didn't know what that meant so his friend asked his Mum and she said it was somebody who ate a lot of chocolates.

Heheh.

I can't believe my Freudian typo. 'Lick with the left foot'? Sheesh.

Here in the United Kingdom, many people are having bonfires and fireworks for Guy Fawkes' Night.

It got me to thinking. Some men, right, they spend loads of money on a really big firework, and it's (literally) like a big fucking rocket and they want to be the person who brought the massive motherfucking firework to the party. That's funny that. They're really expensive, then you burn them, usually using a big bin as a launch pad. You've probably had some Stella Artois first (Belgians make fucking proper beer, mate).

It brings to mind another phenomenon (testosteronomenon?). You know sometimes at airports, they have these people in tight trousers and nice shirts and they have clipboards and they sell people tickets to a draw to win a car? The car isn't just a nice car, it's a thing with a massive bulge in the bonnet because it's really fast and that and they have it there, on a floodlit podium, all waxed up? Anyway, getting to the point: you see these people who are just hanging around near the car. It makes them feel so good, they stand in small groups, with their feet apart (like the car's emitting a ball-swelling manliness forcefield) looking faux-serious.

It's funny that.

That's all.

Is it just me, or is this opening sentence really unintentionally funny?
The Guardian wrote:A short, sharp earthquake struck the Lake District and the Cumbrian coast last night, shaking buildings and prompting anxious comments on social networking websites such as Twitter and Facebook.

that's clear scientific evidence that something really actually happened, pete, yer anxious tweets and nervous facebook updates- without them we'd never know if things went on or not
