Aw, I think the donkey looks quite content too.

It reminded me of some photos of a polar bear and dogs that I saw a while ago. Here they are http://www.nastyhobbit.org/forum/pics/p ... r-vs-dogs/

The expression on its face is absolutely brilliant. Resigned to its fate.

He always looks like that. That dog will not look you in the eye. I think he's basically always telling lies in his head. He'll never be president (or Prime Minister).

No that's my mom's former Bernese Mountain Dog who had to be given back to the breeder because of his fear of and tendency to pounce on men. Particularly Black men. Massive racist dog = problem.

My sister's is an unknown Breed (like a cross between a golden retriever and a rhodesian ridgeback) who was found with matted hair wandering the streets of Montreal and had to be shaved within an inch of his life (and didn't bark for about a year) He's always very happy, though.

It's a cutie. Looks a bit like a mix between a shih tzu and a maltese. I know nothing about dogs though, really.

i don't know anything about them either, i just know so many of them are SUPER CUTE. here's the stray we saw in milan - she's the one on the left. we saw her and then we saw this poster at the subway, so we took a picture just in case we happened to see her again. we looked for her on the way back to the hotel afterwards and she was there! she was with a policeman and we showed him the photo and from what i could make out, he already knew and was going to return her to the owner. she was the cutest, friendliest dog i've ever met. seriously, my heart just melted and i'm still in love with her!

The dog on the left in the photo you took looks like a shi tzu like RITH says. Though they usually have longer hair (as do Malteses which have long silky hair!) but the dog in the professional shot you posted could have had a hair cut.

I saw my first British chow chow from the top deck of a bus off Borough High Street the other day. Yay! FLUFF.
