does anyone know any animators?

Post by jamonbreadyay » Sun Jul 27, 2008 19:43

preferably ones who do cute illustration type stuff who could knock something together at a reasonable price.

i need a 2:30 seconds video for a single and can't be bothered faffing about with video cameras and stuff. animation always looks cool and it means i don't have to appear on camera. great!

any help would be greatly appreciated!

I do animation and motion graphics but a 2:30 video would be quite a lot of work, you might struggle finding someone to do it for a decent price. Maybe get in touch with some animation students? Where are you based?

this is my showreel btw, it's a bit out of date though and very commercial, really need to cut a new one!

if you do have a bit of cash, my mate works for these guys, sounds like the style you might be after, and they have done music videos in the past:

i'd probably want to spend about £80 ideally. this isn't very likely is it? animation students would be great, i just don't know where you find them! i'm based in manchester so there's probably loads of them around here...

thanks for your help anyway, i think i may get laughed at if i email kanoti and offer £80 though :)

aye, £80 would get you about 1 and a half hours. Maybe try Manchester Met? They've got some decent animation and design courses I think, get harvesting that student talent!

Maybe DIY it?

I know this guy, I can ask him if he'd be interested if you like? He's very good but has quite a hate it or love it kind of style.
