DOOM! That's EXTREMELY annoying - can you not do a Rough Demo quickly, so's at least you'll have the song to make it up to 14, if you need it?

Everyone else - can we list yr FAWM profiles, for Watching purposes?

Here: THREE!

I've noted down the main riff so I can reconstruct it if need be, but I didn't REALLY like it that much so hopefully I won't need to. I am flagging a bit at the moment...

I'm still savouring the greatest rhyming couplet ever, I shall use it to win back the hearts of women, somehow.

As we're doing the RPM challenge, it doesn't seem to have the option to upload tracks. I've signed us up anyway. Andrew did approve the name, but I fear I might be dead when he sees the image I've added to our profile.... Anyway, if you want to have a nosey at the blog and photos we may add we're here http://www.rpmchallenge.com/component/o ... temid,296/

I've managed to write two songs in two days. I don't know what's wrong with me!
Just be nice to me.

Hmm, only one song finished over the weekend and I won't have any time to work on more tonight. I'm falling behind already...

Writing lyrics in a shrunken email window at work shall be my salvation.

This does look like fun actually. I'm trying to finish some recording just now so if I'd done it this month it'd have distracted me from that. But I might have a go next year.

I'm really enjoying it I must say... tho I've ALREADY resorted to a song about our cat, so it may get a bit harder soon. Still, FOUR done now!

If we had a cat, we might have written one about it ourselves. But we don't.

That's my number four up. Chords and melody nicked from Percy Sledge.

No cats here either, do I have to write a song about my dog?

And more lyrics - I'm struggling to find time to demo at the moment but I'm pleased to be knocking out some songwords for the first time in ages.

Tom, you genius!

I'm looking forward to seeing how you're going to transfer those links into the song.

I think I MIGHT have to leave the links out, sadly!

Also I seem to have become prolific again, look at what just oozed out of my brain - BEFORE 9am in the morning!?

I'm off work next week so I should be able to catch up with demos for my lyricked ones. And write more, hopefully! Although at the moment all my inspiration comes while I try to put off going to work - so perhaps having time off will DESTROY me?

I FEEL yr PAIN - i always wonder THIS about Proper Bands: HOW do they ever write anything if all they do is EITHER loaf around the house OR be in a band? Where on earth do you get ideas from if you're not out DOING stuff?

Or is that why so many Succesful Bands are so dreary?

I reckon it's why so many successful bands do shit 2nd albums; they have no new experiences after the initial successful album other than being famous, developing a good working relationship with their personal stylist and taking more drugs than they used to.

I wrote the best song I've written in years this afternoon. I was beginning to worry that I had no songwriting ability at all and Sarah was going to have to do all the creative work, but it appears not. We've now got 4 songs in various stages of completion. They all have the structure worked out, three of them need more words and they generally need the drums re-doing once I get the module home. But it's still looking very positive.
