The pair, who live in Sheffield, have collected more than 500 independent publications, including The Pasty Anthology.
The Pasty Anthology! Why didn't I think of that?

My fanzine is nearly ready but I don't think I'm going to release it out in the wild now. It's really glum and wistful and reads like it should be made into a song in a minor chord.

Aw, thanks Victor. But a wistful song in a minor chord is almost always a brilliant idea whereas my zine is really bloody sad - I've been sober for too long and can't get my head around anything right now. No-one wants to read a soppy piece about Stephanie Flanders, believe me.

I'd still love to see that fanzine by Marianthi.

More fanzines, please.

Fanzines are fun, and also fun (and easy) to make. It's kind of embarrassing sometimes when I think of all the people who read the bullshit I wrote, but that won't stop me.

People of anorak, please make a fanzine. I'll buy it, I promise!

Go on then. I'll try and get one done in time for Indietracks.

Aw tonieee. <3 <3

I'm almost halfway through it already, anyway. It's been one of those days and the bloody Apprentice is on the telly tonight and just the fact anyone is watching that makes me want to write 57 fanzines. About, y'know, how the world can be sparkly despite it.

Our label just produced our first zine: http://fallenloverecords.com/secretgardens.shtml

It should hopefully have some appeal even for people who aren't familiar with our artists. Interviews with all our acts but also comics and recipes and general discussions about pop culture and cassettes and all-ages venues.
