I have a dream that one day I will get over there and play for you! But I do have many ridiculous dreams, so don't take it too seriously ;-)

I think you posted this the same night I dreamed I still lived in Phnom Penh and was drinking in my local on Boueng Kak. DAMN! It's pissing distance from The Philippines. Sort of.

This might be complete ignorance on my side, but I think it's quite mental that a smallish group of indiepop kids over in The Philippines are all going well insane over bands like Orange Juice and The Acid House Kings. Mental in a good way, obviously.
I don't know why this is. It hits me every now and again, like when I got a taxi in Bangkok over ten years ago and heard Drugstore being played on the radio or something.
Cor, I so would like to just jet along to one of these kind of nights. It''ll never happen, but would be so nice.

okinawa isn't that far away, and i think the flights are quite good, so it is very likely that i will come along one night...

I might be visiting the Phils. later this year, and hoping that i could attend one of these parties while i'm there. Its a shame that Sydney doesn't have a dedicated popscene like the Phils. and the rest of the world. Keep Up the good work and the music alive! ;)
