I quite like iTunes myself.

The new one looks better, but has stopped doing some things properly.

No longer syncs apps off my iphone, and it lists playlists on all my devices when I'm trying to send something to a playlist. That probably just annoys me.

I see... I am more and more under Apple's spell, I like the way their products work.

I know that on a pounds per byte ratio, you don't get as much bang for your buck, but somehow the bang you get seems to get me where you want to go with Apple.

I have always had a dislike of Microsoft, which of course used to be the big corporate juggernaut.

I imagine it's probably much of a muchness, but there it is.

If you ever come to visit, I will promise to hide at least a few apple things around the house, maybe try to limit it to one per room, though obviously choosing between our iToothbrushes and the apple showerhead will be tricky.

Has an anyone bought an iPad from Apple's refurbed section? I caved in but wanted to get as much as I could for the money (yes, ironic I know) so plumped for a refurbed iPad 3rd generation 64Gb Wi-Fi only one. It was £439.00 which was less that what some 2nd hand ones were going for on eBay. Am I going to get stung?

No, it'll be fine. Fully supported and everything. People just want new things. If anything this one will have been more thoroughly checked for defects.

I received it today, I'm using it now. Pristine condition, I guess it was one that came back to apple as an unwanted gift or something. Takes an age to charge up though, doesn't it.

I was really impressed how fast mine charged. It's an iPad 2 though, maybe they made "improvements".

Typing this on my new Samsung Note. Reduced to 280-odd quid from 350 or something, cos someone didn't want it for Christmas or something. Still got a two-year guarantee and everything. Good deal!

Seriously though, how the heck does Photoshop Touch work...?

OK, pretty chuffed with the new toy... but bloody hell, how long do these things take to charge?

The Nexus 10 32gb version is back in stock at Google Play. If you want one, be quick!
