A3 printers

Post by indiehorse » Fri Aug 24, 2012 12:32 pm

I am considering buying an A3 printer. A cheap one.

I will primarily be using it to print posters, I think. So print quality is possibly less of a concern than if I was wanting to print photographic images.

What would you recommend?

I quite like the look of the Brother MFCJ5910DW because it’s dirt cheap (the ink is also cheap), but am I trading off to much in terms of quality?

The other likely candidate is the Canon PIXMA iX6650. I’ve always trusted Canon and they’ve never let me down.

Thoughts please…

Too slow, Anorak. I'm an impulse buyer, don't you know.

I went with the Brother one. It should be arriving tomorrow.

The printer arrived. I've been printing out posters to sell at the Nottingham Martha gig. They look lovely.
