Done. I'm opening up a whole new world for you! I'll just have to cut down on the traditional mariokart swearing with young ears about!

Nothing makes me feel more "I'm wasting my life"-y than playing Guitar Hero III on my own for an extensive amount of time. Especially because your eyes go all funny, it makes you feel like it's extra bad. I haven't played rock band yet though.

Reassuringly cutting-edge technical advice there.

I'm thinking of getting a wii, mainly because I quite fancy wii fit. Has anyone got that?

They had some on Amazon the other day, but perhaps that was just the add-on! I won't be able to afford it for a couple of months anyway, I don't think.

I'm really terrified that the first time I ever have a go on a wii I will just get confused and let go of the remote, smashing the television screen in the process.

I used to have that fear as well until I discovered that the remote has a wrist strap. So the worst that can happen if you let go of the remote is that its momentum carries it back on itself in a rotation, smashing you in the face and breaking your nose. And with my nose being the shape it is, nobody would notice any difference.

I only bought a wii so that I could get the wii fit. I stood in line at 7 am. I had to go three times before I got there early enough to get one, but that was back in July.

I never started actively losing weight until I bought it. Not so much because of the exercising but because of the graph it plots every time you weigh yourself. Once it starts going uphill, I get all in a panic.

Though, the novelty of it has worn off and since Christmas I seem to have gained 5 lbs...
Butt.

My computer-savvy friends hooked me up on the wii interwebs yesterday, so I supposedly can play w/others far afield now. Of course, that means my figure out how to even turn the machine on:

Look even though I wrote everything down while they were at my place, they sent a confirming e-mail know what a technoidiot I am:
So Marcy can easily tell friends, here is Marcy's info:
Wii Console number: 1913 9635 0468 4726
Mario Kart friend number: 4468 5914 2176
They also told me you can download Tetris and use your fit balance board to play! I want it!!

I am still without a wii.

I just can't make the financial commitment!

It's handy have a kid as an excuse to buy one--even though in that warped logic, I'm actually robbing him of food, clothing, and a college fund.

His mii is soooo cute though.

It's a good thing I stink at all wii games, because I can't play long enough to hurt myself.

oh damn. my wii fit age is 50! i think the bmi thing has thrown it off though because it's saying my bmi is too low but it hasn't taken body frame/type into consideration when calculating (i don't think bmi ever does)

still, i know i'm out of shape and the trainer dude seems nice. even though he's only a cartoon.
tell me how good it is / to wake from a bad dream / and have someone there and I will tell you / how butterfly wings stay dry in the rain
